A full and robust skirt made to be beautiful while enduring all sorts of wear. Made of medium weight linen, this skirt feels substantial while still breezy enough to run through the hedges and float through a hall of mirrors. No elastic here, the waistband is adjustable by sturdy brass buckles at the side.

100% OEKO-Tex certified medium weight linen.
Buttons made of recycled cow bone
100% cotton lace
Note: Fresh linen is stiff and wrinkles appear harsher. We do not use "stone-washed" linen (a process that can expedite the decomposition of your fabric). It is new and ready to be broken in by you. Worn linen eventually takes on a buttery-soft feel and more relaxed appearance, where wrinkles blend in to an enriched texture. If you would like to freshen it up again, simple wash, hang dry, and iron. Or go the extra mile and starch it like twas done in yore.

Notes for tailoring:
This skirt is designed to be adjustable. For crafty customers or those with tailors, this skirt can be shortened by simply adding an extra fold (or several) to the hem, adding more beauty without removing any detailing. If you are smaller than any of the currently available sizes, the front buckle bands can simply be moved forward center to allow for more cinching in the waist.

Shortening ~ this item can be shortened by adding more folded tiers to the hem of the skirt. This is a lovely and historical way to shorten the garment by adding even more detail and beauty. For growing bodies, this means it can also be taken out later when more length is desired again.
Waist reduction ~ if you are smaller than any of the available "minimum" sizes, I can move the buckle tabs so that more waist reduction is possible. For example, if you are a 66cm / 26 waist, I can move the S/M waist buckle tabs towards center front thereby creating more room for cinching.

Items that are customized are considered "custom" and are most likely unavailable for returns afterward. In case of doubt, feel free to email me beforehand to answer any questions.
Customizing items can add up to a week of processing time depending on where I am at in the order queue.
If the customization request is approved, then order will be fulfilled. If it is not approved, you will hear from me and we can decide to alter the request or cancel the order.
