Linen is for the liminal season

Layer linen and wools while it is the season between seasons. Frost rattles with sunshine in the war between summer and winter. October seats herself on the dias of ripened wheat berries and bramble to see how the challengers fare. It is the season of wandering hills, panting cold air from the lungs while sweat beads between your shoulder blades. October is a month of opposing forces. Is this why the autumn is so intriguing for many? It is recommended to harvest talismans of summer's warmth while you still can. Pick the berries that can only ripen with heat, the shoots that bend in the early sunset breezes. Blessed October tidings to you all, Devon
