14th c Inspired Stitched Sideless Surcoat

A lightweight linen layering piece that looks great belted by itself for warmer days or layered over other pieces to create an interesting, medieval inspired outfit.

Inspired by illustrated depictions of women from 14th century manuscripts, such as the Lutrell Psalter.

100% linen, hand stitched borders are 100% wool.

This is the dried heather version, a soft medium grey-purple. I have a few in stock, please see options for the difference sizes and colors of stitching.

This garment is intended to fit looser around your hips than your natural measurement so that it can layer over other garments comfortably.

The model is 5'6", 36" bust x 30" waist x 38" hip and is wearing the 51" long x 44" hip
